Blog for Wednesday

Ms. Nakada welcomed us into class by saying good morning and hello to everyone. Then, Ms. Nakada played the beginning of a movie called Ferris Bueller's Day Off, because the quote of the week was from Mr. Ferris Bueller himself. “Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around you might miss it.” We answered the question of the week which was "How can slowing down help you be more successful?" Ms. Nakada's answer was, “Life is about the journey and not the destination.” The song of the week was, "Apple Tree" by Erykah Badu. Then, we read the poem “It's Not Your Job” by Caitlyn Siehl. We wrote some poems ourselves, and then met in literature circles. After that, Ms. Nakada let us go.
