Lizbeth's Second Blog

Today, we started by doing our agenda and writing down our homework for this week, which is easy because we only need to relax. After that, we wrote the quote of the week: “The woods are lovely dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep, And miles to go before I sleep” by Robert Frost. The question of the week was: What was the best/worst part of 2020? Lastly, in our notebooks, we wrote the song of the week: “Hazy Shade of Winter” by The Bangles. Finally, we wrote our gift of words in a Jamboard and did a course evaluation google form.

Today, the first thing we did was our agendas. After that, we wrote down and discussed our “ Quote Of The Week,” “Question Of The Week,” and “Song Of The Week.” Quote: "I had for my winter evening walk No one at all with whom to talk. But I had the cottages in a row Up to their shining eyes in snow." Robert Frost's "Good Hours." Question: What is the difference between being alone and being lonely. We listened to our “Song Of The Week”, Which was “Message In A Bottle”, by The Police. After that, we worked on our -Book Creator App- , which we did for the rest of the period. I was also able to finish my book on the book creator app.

Sheila's First Blog

Today I was chosen to do the blog. The first thing we did was finish, unfinished work. Then, we took our NaNoWriMo novels and turned them into books. It took the whole period to make the books look fabulous. That’s all we did for today.=)

Lizbeth's First Blog

Today we started off by correcting Monica’s blog. In our English notebooks, we wrote our agenda for week 14. Then, we wrote and talked about the quote of the week: “Select and collect all the words and sentences that have been to you like the blast of a trumpet” by Ralph Waldo Emerson. We also wrote the question of the week: Can money buy love/happiness? After that, we heard the song “Forever Young” by Alphaville. Lastly, we wrote words, phrases, quotes, and lyrics that we liked. At the end of class, we started working on our Na No Wri Mo Reflection.
